Typo on domain

Hi, 

I am helping a friend set up their Google Workspace. When adding her domain I wrote it with a q and not a c... meaning I added a typo to the domain. I have been trying everything to verify the domain, and just now noticed the typo.

I am no longer in the trial period, see that the option is to cancel and do the process from 0, but I must pay the whole year, because of the 1 year contract.

Is there a way to correct the domain, so that it can be verified... without cancelling.... PLEASE, HELP!!!

Two thoughts:

1) Have a look at https://support.google.com/a/answer/7009324

2) If the domain name with the q is available to register, you/your friend might just register that domain name in addition to the c variant. If you made the typo, your friends' customers/clients might also be likely to do the same thing...
