New Feature for Google Meets

Dear Google Team,

I think the development of Google Workspace is very user-friendly, both in personal and business use cases.

Since some time it is possible to manage one in Google Meets via Breakouts Team and set a timer. In my opinion, it should be possible to display a countdown timer in Google Meets in general, because it often happens that the time is forgotten during a productive discussion or meeting.

Is it planned to integrate a countdown timer in Google Meets?

This is needed very much! Can't agree more! Google Meet should remind about the timing of the meeting in every possible way, Timer included. If not, users will be experiencing meeting fatigue and complainig from the product, which by itself is not causing the fatigue.

Hey Olivier, as far as I know, Google is not planning to add a countdown timer in Google Meet. But you can try to use the Chrome Extension for that. Meeting Timer - for Google Meet connects to your Google Calendar and then displays a timer automatically for every call that matches the calendar event: https://www.meetingtimer.io/.
