Secondary Calendar Invite - Change Attendance Response

I have created a secondary calendar and added an event to that calendar which includes several attendees.  Two attendees declined and then deleted the event but now want to attend.  They are unable to change their responses. 

Additionally, when I delete them from the event, save the event, and then add them back to the event the system (Google) automatically declines them and prevents them from accepting the event. 

Other than deleting the event and creating a new event, is there any way to resolve this?

Hi,

If the attendees can't change their RSVP via the original email then I'd recommend one of the following options:

1. Delete the event and create a whole new event (my preference)

2. Open up the edit screen of the event and click on the envelope icon. Add the attendees' email addressees and a brief message. They'll get an email with the event details and from there they can create an event on their own calendar but they won't get notified if the event details change (which is why option 1 is my preference).
