Ability to write AppScripts

AppSheet users need to be able to code their own actions and not be constrained by a limited set of actions and formulas. I can’t get my app to work because the actions I need do not exist.

So here is a quick-fix proposal:

• Create an API for Google AppScript (including triggers)
• Let people select these scripts as actions

This way you don’t need build extra infrastructure and makes users use other google products.

I do GAS along with APP, and I also use the Appsheet API here and there, not really have much of frustration for the time being. What do you exactly want to do with GAS ? I m just curious to learn what you want to achieve.
