Action - set values in some column in this row; once the column is selected then to remove the dropdown

When we set the action of “Set values in some column in this row”, we pick up the field name one by one and then assign the value either expression or textual value for configulation.

For the moment, even afer one certain field is selected, the same field can be selected continuously. Nobody will pick up the same column multiple time in this particular case, as it will raise an issue of conflict when app creators enter and assign different value for the same field.

Ideally, once the field is selected, then the same field should be removed from the dropdown list from the subsequent selection of the name of the field to avoid us to pick up the field which is already “picked up” and value is assigned for action.

Hope this makes sense.

Is the ability to select the same column multiple times there so that we have more flexibily? So you can set a column to a value then clear it to trigger a workflow. Or where you might do something like
[Column A] * [Column B] then write this in [Column C]
[Column A] * 10 then write this in [Column D]
Then write [Column C] * [Column D] into [Column A]

Just doing a really complicated job with actions writing stuff all over some i’m a bit ‘on point’ with this today

In any case we are able to pass the “single” value to “single” field all the time even we dynamically change the value to pass to the target field.

Even for those kinds of complex expressions, the value to pass to the target field is always ONE field.

That s my point.
