Add columns from sheet bases on date

Hi everyone!

I’m trying to add an amount based on if the value is from this year.

I tried:

=SUMIF(inputs!B:B, “YEAR(B:B) = YEAR(TODAY)”, inputs!F:F)

Where B column has the dates and F the amounts to Add. I can’t seem to make it work. Any tips/help?

@David_Villafane Would it be better to use an app formula instead of sheet formula for this purpose?
