Add Data while on Dashboard

Can I use a form while in the Dashboard?

Case Scenario - I have a table of main activities on the left. I want to split each activity to few sub activities and create the sub-activities to a different table.
I already set up ref and Ispartof and I can add new subactivites while on the detail view via inline view, but I want to create these new rows while on the dashboard view

I’m afraid that’s not possible. Have you thought to use deep link action button from the detail view?

Not yet, but will that open the form view outside the dashboard or on the dashboard?
