Add New Data To Spreadsheet

Hello,

I am experimenting with AppSheet for the first time. I created a test app, and I linked it to an Excel spreadsheet.

I am able to update data in the spreadsheet using the app. However, I am not able to add new records of data. How can I do this?

I’ve tried creating a new action on my app that will allow me to add new records. However, whenever I try setting up and saving the new action, it doesn’t appear on my app

You shouldn’t be required to create an action to add rows. My guess is your table does not allow adds. In the app editor, go to Data > Tables, to the problem table, and look at the Are updates allowed? property. You may need to enable Adds.
