"add new row using the value of this row" with File

Hello,
is it possibile to “send” a file with this action?
I mean, i want to copy some column to a child table as historical record, so i can change the values but i ve everything saved in a related record key based. Everything is fine except for one column. I ve a PDF file column. The column has been copied but from the child detail view i can’t open this file. I can open the file only from the main detail view; am i missing something?
what i’m trying to achive is not loose the previous file when i overwite it with a new one. Cause i’m assuming to have a “backup” child table.

There is no way to copy files with AppSheet. To avoid overwriting a previous file, the new file should be given a different name.
