Adding columns to my APP using API

It is only possible to add rows via API? I have a internal need to adding columns through an API, i’ve read the documentation about adding rows, and im about to test some ideas to add columns on my Googlesheet.

If Appsheet have any documentation about this, or someone have experienced a needing like this, please share the content!!
