Apostrophe before value

Today I realized that when I use an action based on “set the values of some columns in this row” and the resultant value is equeal to the value of another column, the cell shows an apostrophe before the value. The column is formatted to plain text.

is this a normal behavior?

Yes.

A single quote (or an apostrophe) is used to signify Text in Excel.

Thank you.
