App header shows Key instead of Display Name

I can’t understand why sometimes this happens; I’ve encountered it in more than an app and trying several devices.

As of today, your app should show the view “Display Name” instead of the key.

This is assuming you have “Show view name in header” set in UX > Options otherwise it will show the app name. Thanks for the report.

Hi, would you please send an email with details to support@appsheet.com

I replied to your support question, but adding it here too for visibility: we are currently displaying the key if you visit drilldown into Detail view from a table but not if you visit the detail view directly. This can be quite unintuitive but it was done as as default because often the key can be more descriptive.

I’ll look into adding an option to toggle this default so it can behave as you want with the display name.

Hi, has this feature “Show view name in header” been deprecated? I don’t see it and would love to have a title at the top of my view. thanks

It’s been moved to UX > Brand > Header & Footer instead
