Feature The document processing solution for AppSheet has been updated.

Document processing is a feature that allows you to automatically extract useful content from document files that are stored as PDF, GIF or TIFF files. This is built upon Google’s Document AI solution and supported file formats and document types will grow with them. Deployed to all.

Feature Deleting a Task, Process, or Event that is being used will show a confirmation dialog with the list of dependent entities. Deployed to all.
Feature You can now easily search for and reorder slice columns. To use the feature, do Shift+Click and drag selected columns to reorder them. Deployed to 100%of free users and 33% of paid users.

Bug Fixes

Item Description
Bug Actions in card views will now behave the same way as actions in Deck views. For details about this issue, see the community post Edit button in card view. Deployed to all.
Bug An issue was fixed for file selector for custom images in the UX > Brand tab (App logo, Launch image, and Background image) which was broken in a recent release. Deployed to all.
Bug An issue was fixed where FAB buttons were cut off when a filter was added. Deployed to all.

  • We are updating the Preview version monitoring app to allow a better monitoring experience for automation execution, from bot, to event, to process and to each step's execution within the process. Deployed to all.

  • Support was added for filtering by ref types.
  • Display names are now shown in filters when specified.
  • The filtering icon was removed from the search bar in a dashboard.
  • New Chart users are now able to hide the title for their charts. There is now a button in the configuration header that lets users turn on/off the title of their chart. This is useful in cases where there may be multiple charts on the same page.

App Creators can now make use of our new chart editor and the new and improved charts it can create. Learn more.

Feature Filters in AppSheet applications

App users can now filter items from a collection of records using their different attributes.

The feature is available both on mobile devices and desktop computers. Learn more.

Feature Resizing column width in table views

App users can now resize the width of columns in any table view. Simply click and drag the separator between column headers.
