Automatically update validation

Is it possible to have the validation to a text answer automatically update dependant on a column in Google sheets to match any items in that column only.

I have the app set up at the moment to scan items in and out however in google sheets I have a list of which bar codes are allowed to leave.
what I would like is for the validation to automatically update depending on what qr codes are in the sheet.

It is not possible for an AppSheet app to update a spreadsheet’s data validation settings. Consider moving the validation logic into the app itself.
