Autopopulate form field based on table action is triggered from

If there is an action button that opens a form, is it possible to autopopulate some from fields based on info in the table/view the action is trigger from?

For example, if I click the Alpha/Delta Checklist action button a form pops up that would need to have the same “Job number” as the record it’s originally triggered from. Is it possible to autopopulate the “Job number” field in the Alpha/Delta Checklist form so it’s the same as the job number in the record it’s triggered from?

You can think of it as a work checklist that’s part of a separate work order. They would both be tied to the same work order of “Job number”.
