Barcode Scanner detects wrong value

We can scan these Code128 Barcodes with the AppSheet Barcode scanner.
But if the camera doesn’t cover the whole barcode, it can read a wrong value.

It has not to do with special characters, whitespace, or comma. All these examples have the same bug.

This is happening on Huawei P10 lite, Huawei Mate 20, Samsung Galaxy S8 or S9.
Is this a general problem with Code128, or is this a Scanner bug?

As stated here, 128 Barcodes have a start and a stop character. I think this should avoid bugs like this?
