Beginner help with "Copy This Row and Edit the Copy"

I understand from searches of this forum that there is an action along the lines of “Copy this Row and Edit the Copy”. I think it is what I need to do what I want to do, but have no idea how to get started. In the example below, I would like to have a button next to the edit button that says or indicates “make a copy” that the user would tap then be able to edit the new record. Could someone point me in the right direction or share some resources on this?
