Bug: Automatic updates every 30 minutes not working with Google Calendar

Under Behavior > Offline/Sync I enabled Automatic updates

This is not working with Google Calendar as a data source.
When you add an entry in Google Calendar, it will not appear in the AppSheet App.
You have to manually sync.

Hi Fabian, I am not seeing this problem in an app of my own I’ve built with calendar data. Will follow up with you on your support ticket

It is working on mobile devices and in a full screen browser. But it is not working in the editor. That was confusing me.
This is what @praveen told me:
The emulator doesn’t do background syncs (I don’t quite know why, but in examining the code, it seems to explicitly block that … I can ask Adam why this is).
