Bug in "IS PART OF " Feature

Child Table’s Related Rows are not Deleted while Deleting one of the Rows in Parent Table. Even "IS PART OF " option is Enabled. Only If I sync app Then Related Child Rows are Deleted.

Hi @Naveen_N! I don’t have experience with your specific situation but, based on other experiences I’ve had, I would guess that the situation you have described is normal. Some changes don’t get reflected until you sink.

Kirk is correct.

At present, it is the server that performs the delete of the child records when the sync is performed. The server does this when the "IS PART OF " option is Enabled and the parent record is deleted.

The client then re-reads both tables. At that point, the client is aware that the children have been deleted.
