Calendar date question

I asked this before but perhaps not clearly.
Here is what I am trying to do with images using TODAY() as an initial value doesn’t work for other dates selected in the Calendar . I want the date in the form to match the date the user selected in the Calendar ! It seems like it should be easy. How would I do this , is it possible ?

Yes you have explained it just fine… but at this moment it’s not possible. This is the reason I changed it to “Feature request”.
