Can we get an on-screen alert for a sync fail when background sync is enabled?

I’m noticing some users not understanding/noticing that syncs are not going through in the background and continue to add data to the app that ends up getting lost/put into a recovery file.

Maybe a Flashing sync button, or an onscreen display of the error.

Do they not notice the number of changes pending sync on the sync button?

Well… that could be a good feature because most of the users don’t understand what that number [2] means or they have forgotten that. Of course you could build an info page about it… that could help something.

Agree, some level of user guidance/instruction is necessary; otherwise even if you change the color they could still be puzzled as to what that means.

Another point is, AppSheet is supposed to be offline friendly, so if a sync fails it could be temporary network disconnection or lack of data coverage on that mobile device, so when it should raise a red flag?
