Cannot add shortcut in Adroid

The previous way that automatically added a shortcut no longer works. I was by AppSheet help desk to use “Add Shortcut” in the hamburger menu. This does not work - see screenshot. I’m using Android 11.

I am also using Android 11, but I am still able to use the “Add Shortcut”. Perhaps a device issue?

I get the same message on a different device.after tapping Add Shortcut. No shortcut is added.

Hi @Fof_Webmaster,
Did you upload the app icon in svg format? If so, please upload the icon in png format and try adding a shortcut again.

Gil,

After 4 years of smooth operation somehow the app icon was deleted from GDrive. This must have been done on our side. I reinstalled the icon and AppSheet installs perfectly.
