Card List View UX Problem

I’m finding that when a Card/List view is originally created it is a true list, but if changed to another View Type (ie. “Deck”) and then back to the “Card” view with layout set to “list” there is a flashing square next to each of the items. Is there anyway to get rid of that?

On another note, does one really need to rebuild from scratch to get the order of items on list to change (I even tried making slices…) Can’t seem to get the list of inputs to change from what was the original column order in the Sheet when the App was created.

I’m afraid I don’t understand. Can you elaborate, and/or provide a screenshot demonstrating the problem?
