Connect to MySQL in the Google Cloud using SSL

If MySQL in Google SSL is switched off, the connection works without problems. As soon as I activate SSL encryption in Google, Appsheet can no longer connect to the database. I have also found no function in Appsheet, where I can deposit the SSL certificate.

Hello,

Indeed it is said :

To enable SSL connection using the second mode, select Require SSL when setting up the MySQL data source. If your MySQL instance is configured to use X.509 mode, youโ€™ll need to change the connection mode to SSL in order for the connection to work. For instances hosted on Google Cloud, X.509 mode can be turned off by going to the SSL tab and clicking on Allow unsecured connections . This will tell Google to relax the client certificate requirement.

However i could not find this SSL tab in the Google Console, neither the Allow unsecured connections option. Is it still possible to use ssl with Google Cloud please ?

Please contact support@appsheet.com for help with this.
