Convert xlsx to xlsm without blowing up my app?

I just realized that I’m probably going to have to add a macro or two to my excel spreadsheet. I’ll need to convert it to a macro-enabled xlsm file. Is this going to blow up my app?

Anyway to convert the file without breaking all the links to the tabs? Uuugh!

As far as I know, Excel online (to which Appsheet is going to connect) is NOT supporing macro and VBA. Thats the reason Appsheet is not supporting xlsm file. All in all, this is limitation imposed by MS, rather than Appsheet.
