Converting Feet to Meters or Meters to Feet

I have 2 columns, one feet and one meters, how can I have either one calculated once information is entered into the other?

If you have a metric column, just calculate it like [Meter]*3.2808399

Hi Aleksi,

I want it to be bi-directional. So it the users enter feet in the feet column the Meter column is updated and if the user enters meters in the meters column the feet column is updated. I’m thinking I may have to create virtual columns for data entry and have the actual columns calculate the data.

You can’t do it bi-directional as it will invoke a circular dependency error. But you can do it like this. Click on your name in the home screen…

You can’t entry data for the virtual column manually, they are meant for calculation only.
