COUNT number of rows in view

Hi,

Is there a way of showing the total number of rows in a view without using the tickbox and selecting them all. I can add another column to my data with column heading “count rows” and then make each value in that column dor every row “Total:” and then

Group by “count rows”

And

Group aggregate “COUNT”

This would result in

Total: 12550

Is there a more straight forward way of doing this without adding new columns to tables?

Actually it has just occured to me that I can do it with a VC rather than in the google sheet!
