Hi, just wanted to share this funny fact about “COVID-19 Apps”.

Here in Portugal, all restaurants were closed on 16th March and opened this week (monday) although with some restritions, in order to keep the clients as safier as possible.

So the funny fact… MANY restaurant owners are willing to pay and replacing their paper menus by a digital solution as simple as:

All the tables would have a QR code and clients with an app scan the code to access the menu. Just that, and the demand have been huge!!

Smart idea. Menu could point to simple static webpage, a PDF file, or I’m sure it could point to an order-taking app that pings the kitchen staff with new orders
