Create an action to email multiple parties?

Is it possible to create an action that allows a user to select multiple entries and then email all of those entries in one bulk action? I manage a Sales Team and I’d like my users to be able to select multiple contacts contained in our Directory and be able to email all of the selected parties with the same “bulk” message. Is this possible?

Not trivially. I’d imagine you’d have to create an action that adds the selected entries to a table, the use a workflow to recognize the presence of entries in the table and send the email.

Another way is a small form/table where you select them and then save it. You don’t need to add new records for every email, meaning you could update one record only.
