Create PDF on Button Click using workflow?

I want to create a PRODUCTION ORDER pdf for my production table and save the pdf in a folder but I do not want it done automatically. I want it to happen on the click of a button which I shall give somewhere in my Production Detail View or as inline in Production Table View.

How is that possible ?
