When selecting a drop-down, the initial value is not retained in the search box.
Is there any way to retain it?
I’m initializing that based on another column’s selection. I’d like the drop-down filtered by the initialized value. The user needs to be able to backspace the search text in case all possible values are needed for selection, but the vast majority of the time the selections needed would match the init text.
Unfortunately the init text isn’t retained when the drop-down is activated.
