Email Column type with multiple email addresses

But I was under the impression that in email type columns you could enter multiple email addresses by separating them with a comma or semicolon. I’ve just tried this but get an error. Am I doing something wrong or does it have to be a TEXT column to do this?

Email is just a text column that is constrained to one email address. To store multiple, you’ll need to switch to Text or possibly EnumList. There are options.
