Email sending when status change

I created an APP starting from a google sheet populated through google form. I’ve added functions for changing status and a bot that sends emails when the status changes.
My problem is that I can not make him read the recipient mail from the mail column. He always sends emails to me. At the change of status he should read the recipient email from the mail cell and send. Could you mention if the app is deployed? For non deployed apps, the email goes to only the app creator.
