Equivalent of "following" on this forum

I responded to a thread and then received a response. However, I might not have seen it because I didn’t get a notification. When I click on my icon in the upper right-hand corner of this web page, I see responses to posts that I have initiated but nothing about additional posts to threads that I have responded to. It would be nice to have such notifications too.

Now I see that posts I have responded to are “tracked” but I don’t think that’s what I need. Just a change in the count of new replies isn’t as easy as having something “watched.” It looks like I can manual change this, though, so I’ll try that.
