ERROR Message:

“The condition of format rule ‘Grey Out Suggestions’ may be expensive and slow the user experience of your app”

I don’t remember making any changes that would bring about this error.

Any advice on how to fix it?

Hi @David_Ames. This should only be a warning, not an error. Did it break your app?

Also, could you post your format rule formula, and I can take a look?

OR([Rejected], [Accepted], AND(NOT([Previewing]), COUNT(SELECT(_Internal_SuggestionsTable[Key], [Previewing])) >0))

The above is the only thing I can find that looks like it’s possibly related to this issue.

I found it in “Greyed Out Suggestions” under Format Rules in UX.

(I disabled it when I first saw the warning a few days ago, but that didn’t remedy the issue.)

Like I said, I don’t ever remember setting this rule one way or another.

@David_Ames Oh, that format rule is due to a bug that added some internal tables to your app definition. You can safely remove it from your app definition.

So just click on “delete” at the top of the Grey Out Suggestions table where it says Copy | Delete | Enable in blue?

Yes, that should be fine. If you encounter an error, you can always revert back to a previous version. Let me know if it doesn’t work.
