Excel with Automation

So far i have used google sheets as my source data, however, i have a new project im attempting to build that would probably make it easier for some of my clients to be with excel. My question is, does excel support the conection with appsheet automation? Csn i “listen” to changes in excel

Currently external data change events are only supported for Google Sheets & Salesforce.
