Expect "Go to Details" action to still work in Das...

Would it not make sense that at least “Go to details” action should at least work when I have an interactive dashmode on?

I was hoping that this would allow me to have best of both.
i.e. The ability to use the interactive dashmode to filter my facts table (i.e. Exercises) and then still have the ability to select the elipses and select Go to Details vs needing to expand the Exercise view 1st?

Am I missing something?
Any suggestion on a work around?
