Expression for checking if a value exist in Column

Hi There,

I am new to app sheet. I would like assistance with expressions. I have got an audit table for registering audits. I have got [Status] column and a [Verified Date] column which is populated with values each time a user clicks on particular button. So what I would like is to pre-fill [Previous Status] with whatever value that exists in [Status] column and [Previous Audit Date] with whatever value that exists in [Verified Date]. The prefill should only happen if the date in [Verified Date] different to NOW() date when user clicks on button.
