Filename preservation

I like others would like the addition of a feature to preserve the filename of an uploaded file as this enables document control on the uploaded file.

How do I get the fileName or docID of the archived PDFs from a workflow rule which creates an email PDF attachment for every new order? (Note: the archived PDFs are in the attachments folder.) I’m guessing there must be a sequential generation of fileNames for the PDFs. The intention is to provide the user to be able to view the PDF for each order through the App on a mobile device through an Action, if need be. Thanks in advance.
