Forcing a specific image format when capturing pictures

I need to force the format of the images that are captured by my app to jpg or jpeg so that I could then compress them more with my own process. At the moment the images captured by my project are either png or jpg or jpeg depending on which mobile made the capture. Is there a way to force a specific format?

@Alco unfortunately there isn’t a way to automatically convert an image file type with your application, that will need to happen before adding to a form.
