Format rules in form view type

Good morning,
I noticed that format rules don’t apply to any field in form viewtype anymore. I had some rules in my apps that work only in detail e table views. Is there any reason? and… is there a solution to restore this?

I believe I’m having same issue. Very frustrating - took lots of time setting up the forms with various show columns just to have some formatting and now it’s all gone.

Was this ever answered? I’m trying to format some prepopulated text in a form field.
