For those that didn’t know, you can edit your Excel templates directly in Google Sheets. This might not seem immediately obvious because opening the file via the “View” button in Appsheet
seems to normally default to a “Open with Excel” button
However, you can click the dropdown menu and instead choose Google Sheets if you wish
You can see that you’re editing the native Excel file at the top next to the file name
It may just be my personal preference but for those of us that use many different templates and data sources you might find it easier to use Google Sheets to quickly edit your Excel templates.
