Google Drive security update

Google blasted emails that security updates will be applied to Drive on Sept 13, 2021. They are changing the way files are linked via “get link” option. Can this cause GDrive files, like GSheets, that are linked to AppSheet to break? If so what can be done to fix this?

I got some of those emails as well, but when I looked at the list of affected files, it was just a small handful some super old shared files, at least for me. But I also had the same question.

I’m told that this Google Drive change will have no impact on AppSheet. I’m taking that to mean no impact on AppSheet’s use of spreadsheets and templates stored on Google Drive.
