Google Groups and Security

My question: Does AppSheet allow authentication against more than 1 Google Group.

Hierarchy in Security Filters Questions

Hi All, Has anyone had to create security filters for hierarchies? I have a number of groups and need to set data visibility as follows: Manager Group 1 (can see data of all employees in group 1) Employee 1_1 Employee 1_2 Employee 1_3 Manager Group 2 (can see data of all employees in group 2) Employee 2_1 Employee 2_2 Employee 3_3 Each employee will only see their own data eg. [employee] = Username() I am just having trouble trying to get the managers setup for each group. Any solutions…

Background:
I want to provide access to different records and different views based on different groups of users. I have already set up what is largely recommended in the above identified thread. That is, I have set up a user security group tables within AppSheet. This approach works very nicely.

What I am questioning is, could this security table be taken out of AppSheet and replaced with multiple Google Groups. First of all I am not sure this would be a good idea, secondly I don’t believe it could be done as AppSheet (I believe) only allows authentication against one Google Group.

I am interested in the communities views on this.
