Google Service Account vs IP Addresses for DB Connection

Rather than constantly updating the IP address ranges for AppSheet to connect to a Google Cloud SQL instance, is it possible to use a service account instead to establish the connection? If it is how/where do you set that up?

AFAIK this is not possible today. This would be a good feature request and I would vote for it.

Hi, does somebody have any update on this?

I am using  a Cloud SQL instance and it would be great to switch to a service account.
