Hello! I’m new to appsheet.

How can I add columns by app button ( actions ) ?

not add in spreadsheet directly.

I just searched add rows by actions.

Do you mean add ROWS of data? New COLUMNS can not be added by app button, but you could Show/Hide columns with a button. To Add new columns, you have use the spreadsheet and regenerate the table in AppSheet.

If you mean ROWS as in new records, adding a new row from the app is done via Form Views.

You could create an action that goes to that form, and even pre-fill values if you want. But the user will still have to click SAVE to finish adding the row.

Columns are considered table structure, and as Joseph mentioned, user cannot dynamically add columns to the app by a button, unless you change column structure either by directly adding column to spreadsheet then regenerate the table, or you can add a Virtual Column directly in app using app editor.

Thank you for your advice. I mean add columns not rows. I need to add data, so I just changed rows and columns structure. rows data to columns, and columns data to rows. again, Thank you for your help.
