I would find it helpful to have a comment system for detail and form views; where when the name is clicked (hovered), or an info icon is clicked, a comment bubble pops up for additional details to the meaning of the value/input displayed. For both the detail and form views this would be helpful to the users; in detail, how the value is derived or the meaning of the value; and in forms, for clarification on what is being asked or more detail on what the value represents.
I understand that for forms Display>Description exists, but this removes the field name and is always visible. Sometimes 250 character comments may be helpful.
