Hi All!

In format rules, is there a way to select more colours than what has been given? Although green is there, if I type lime or olive, Appsheet does change in to those colours. Same goes for ‘gold’, ‘violet’ and ‘maroon’. So I was wondering whether there’s a complete guide/palette for us to go through and select the colours we’d like to have other than what has been given in the format rules.

Hi @Malaka_Jayawardene, Yes you can change the colors of the icons and text through format rulesto other than standard colors given.

There is one setting of “Custom”

under Text Color and Highlight Color options in Format Rules pane.

Under these Custom settings you can give HEX codes of colors. In turn you can easily get hex values for various color shades by Googling. Simply search “HEX Code for ABC color”

For example Hex codes for

lime green is : #32CD32, for maroon it is #800000

and gold it is #FFD700

So please type in any of these hex codes as required under Custom settings and you will get the corresponding color shade for text and icons.
