Is there a way to change the run mode of all the tables at once from app creator to user?

@Faustin_Ngassa Hi Faustin, I’m afraid it’s not possible to change the access mode of all tables at once right now. You’ll need to change each table one by one.

It is rare to switch “Access Mode” from “app creator” to “app user”. Very few apps do this. It requires that you grant every user direct access to the underlying worksheets, which can be a security concern.

I am using Google Sheets for data storage. My idea of switching the Access Mode to “App User”

was to be able to audit the changes to the tables using Google’s version history feature. That way if someone changed a product’s price for example, I would be able to see who and when.

Is there a safer way to implement that? I have read an article about auditing change values with triggers and email reports, is that the best answer?
