Hide a button which reverts the status

My app has status enum column, which I use to trigger a bot. It has two possible values, “Pending” and “Completed”. Whenever I mark it complete I see a button which can revert the status back to pending. It is not available when status is “Pending”.

I would like to understand where that button is coming from. I have completely changed the column type as well but it still persists. I would like to understand where that button is coming from and may be use it to set status to complete rather than revert it to pending.
